Très longue montée selon les normes lcoales. Pentue au début, roulante ensuite, malgré l'état de la route, assez mauvais par endroits. Mieux vaut avoir à la monter qu'à la descendre. À Fauquez même, au début de la montée, la chapelle Sainte-Lutgarde, sur votre gauche, mérite un coup d'œil.
