A very pleasant climb on a narrow, steep road at the start. I climbed it as a group and we took it in turns to attack. The flat areas were good, but be careful not to confuse them with the summit a little further on with a final short ramp. At the top, there's this sign that says "col" if you can call it that...
Unlike the neighbouring climb of Les Gaudys (called "côte de la Houssière par Henripont" on this site), this is an almost exclusively forested climb. It is a climb without a clear view, but just as difficult. Be careful on the way down, the road is in a rather poor state.
Recommended ! I drive especially from Brussels here, and then after the climb through the Hallerbos, the Brown Pit, the Menisberg, and the Lotsestraat back to the big city. You come here completely at rest, quiet climb and enjoy :-)
Aanrader !
Quite a long climb close to the Flemish border, the first part is definitely the toughest, afterwards you get some strips to recuperate.
