It's all brick roads in Noordwijk. In time, it drives you well crazy, but its condition is thankfully reasonable. The climb goes through quiet, nice surroundings. The run-up (the first part of the climb) is chosen somewhat strangely and illogically.
Het is een en al klinkerweg in Noordwijk. Op den duur word je daar goed gek van, maar de staat ervan is gelukkig redelijk. De klim gaat door een rustige, aardige omgeving. De aanloop (het eerste deel van de klim) is wat vreemd en onlogisch gekozen.
If you come from the dunes, I take it by turning immediately right. You then don't take the first part of the 'climb'. Climb there runs along a residential area with greenery on the right. Nice alternative to the promenade.
Als je vanuit de duinen komt neem ik deze door direct rechts af te slaan. Het eerste gedeelte van het ‘klimmetje’ neem je dan niet mee. Klim loopt daar langs een villawijk met aan de rechterkant een groene omgeving. Leuk alternatief voor de boulevard.
