Long but easy climb. Unfortunately, the weather worsened on the way up and at Belmonte I found myself in rain and fog. Beautiful descent on the Oasi Zegna, fast and with good ground, amidst woods and rhododendron blossoms.... read more

Beautiful climb with breathtaking views of the valley. The climb from Biella to the Oasi Zegna is really easy, with many flat sections and a few descents. It becomes much harder in places after the Oasis until the arrival of the ski lifts. The descent to Rosazza is beautiful and scenic. Done early in the morning, very little traffic

This climb was my first Alp ever. So I am inexperienced. It is doable. I cycled the route from Spa Hotel Sandigliano. That is about 88 km there and back. Besides this climb, you also have to go back and forth over 700hm. The mountain itself is about 1400m. You come over firstly a bridge from which one bungyjumned. It is a good drive and the view from Panoramica Zegna is fantastic! Leave early because the sun can be hot.

Deze beklimming was mijn eerste Alp ooit. Ben dus onervaren.
