This climb is a real challenge up to Berzet, with steep gradients and an average of around 9％. There's just one hairpin to get you going again, which doesn't make it any easier. At rush hour the traffic can be quite heavy: favour off-peak times. An interesting climb for your everyday outings, and one that gives you access to the Puys range, which is quieter and has some lovely roads.
