Beautiful climb but quite tough. This col flirts the first 3 km regularly with double percentage figures and the many hairpin bends are very steep on the inside. The road is narrow but of good quality except for some gravel. There is a fair amount of shade and beautiful views but that is what the Drome is known for, a cycling paradise. An absolute must for this Bel Air that has not stolen its name.
