Beautiful climb but quite tough. This col flirts the first 3 km regularly with double percentage figures and the many hairpin bends are very steep on the inside.
The road is narrow but of good quality except for some gravel. There is a fair amount of shade and beautiful views but that is what the Drome is known for, a cycling paradise.
The area is really saturated with countless beautiful cols of 4th, 3rd, 2nd and even 1st category.
An absolute must for this Bel Air that has not stolen its name.
