The climb is nice and long, one of the longest in Belgium. As you can see, it is nowhere steep and you can just 'm up on your outer sheet. The first part from Mormont to Manhay is nice in terms of scenery, I think you ride along a stream very sheltered by a wooded area. The only pity is that the road surface here is terrible, it really is sometimes slalom over the road surface to avoid potholes and bumps. Then you arrive in Manhay, from there the road surface is top notch and the landscape more open. Wide open scenery and great views. Descend a bit and cross the viaduct still to 'm off. Near the summit there is plenty of catering opportunity to moor, when I was there on Ascension Day it was well full. Should you want to descend this one, it goes top to Manhay. From Manhay to Mormont I would not recommend because of the poor road surface.
