This climb largely follows a junction route. Here you first follow a tarmac cycle path into the pretty forest. At the end of this, turn diagonally left into a fine gravel road that follows a nice route. At the end of this you come out on an asphalt road again. Here you turn left (the junction route goes right) for some more nice altitude metres where the area remains delightfully wooded until you enter Schaarsbergen just after the end of the climb.
Deze klim volgt grotendeels een knooppuntenroute. Hierbij volg je eerst een asfaltfietspad het fraaie bos in. Op het eind daarvan schuin links een prima gravelweg in die een mooi traject volgt. Op het eind hiervan kom je weer uit op een asfaltweg. Hier ga je links (de knooppuntenroute gaat rechts) voor nog wat lekkere hoogtemeters extra waarbij de omgeving heerlijk bosrijk blijft tot je net na het eind van de klim Schaarsbergen in rijdt.
