Busy access road from the beach to the village of De Koog. Lots of tourist traffic with campers and caravans in summer. A wide road, though, and everyone is considerate of bicycle traffic on this bicycle island. Climb is doable and certainly not as steep as euphimistically stated.
Drukke toegangsweg van het strand naar het dorp De Koog. In de zomer veel toeristenverkeer met campers en caravans. Wel een brede weg en iedereen houdt op dit fietseiland netjes rekening met fietsverkeer. Klim is goed te doen en zeker niet zo steil als eufimistisch aangegeven.
Almost identical on the other side of the dune: nice sprint to the top. No smooth asphalt but rougher cobbles, 10% it really isn't. Just do it if you've done the other side anyway.
Bijna identiek aan de andere kant van het duin: lekker sprinten naar boven. Geen soepel asfalt maar ruwere klinkers, 10% is het echt niet. Gewoon doen als je de andere kant toch al hebt gedaan.
