The views from the upper stages of the climb are good, back towards the Winchendon ridge. There are several hills in this area, none of them are very big, but you can put together a decent amount of climb by linking them - Winchendon, Ashendon, Brill, Chilton, Chearsley (at one end of the Winchendon ridge).
Never feels like much of a hill, despite the gradient. Worth going via for some sustained gradient
