The first part runs through the forest but climbs relatively lightly. That changes after you turn left because the second part is clearly steeper - and even quite steep by Amersfoort standards. Pleasant climb but the climb via Hugo de Grootlaan offers just a bit more challenge.
Het eerste deel loopt door het bos maar klimt relatief licht. Dat verandert nadat je linksaf bent geslagen want het tweede deel is duidelijk steiler - en voor Amersfoortse begrippen zelfs behoorlijk steil. Aangename klim maar de klim via de Hugo de Grootlaan biedt net wat meer uitdaging.
The easier brother of the climb to Amersfoortse Berg via Hugo de Grootlaan. Last part is similar, start is different, maybe a bit nicer, because through the forest.
All in all, I would still rather choose the heavier alternative.
Het makkelijkere broertje van de klim naar de Amersfoortse Berg via de Hugo de Grootlaan. Laatste deel loopt gelijk, begin is anders, misschien wel iets mooier, want door het bos.
Al met al zou ik toch eerder voor het zwaardere alternatief kiezen.
