Absolutely stunning climb. Starts off fairly steep and then levels off and then kicks again. Once you get to a junction, what I would class as the “Oia’ climb is over and then there is a long false flat on a beautiful plateau, there are often free range horses, cows, goats and sheep. There is another kick up with a couple of turns, interestingly named “the devil’s elbow” and you are at the summit. Absolutely stunning climb. Starts off fairly steep and then levels off and then kicks again. Once you get to a junction, what I would class as the “Oia’ climb is over and then there is a long false flat on a beautiful plateau, there are often free range horses, cows, goats and sheep. There is another kick up with a couple of turns, interestingly named “the devil’s elbow” and you are at the summit. There is a monument to a Vuelta stage, but the views across to Baiona and the bay of Vigo are out of this world.
