There is little of interest in this climb. It was included in 3Rides to get around Aachen to the south side as quickly as possible but it still felt mostly like a tedious section that had to be passed before the nicer route began.

A monotonous climb along a cycle path on a through road. In my opinion, the climb is fairly constant at around 5 per cent, although it is more like 3 per cent from the crossroads onwards. For me, this is one of the worse Wurmtal climbs, there are much better alternatives.

A somewhat dull climb without views on a concrete bicycle path along a through (but not too busy) road. The valley of the Wurm is beautiful but you leave it soon. I didn't notice the small valley in the profile, but I did notice that just before the built-up area the road gets a bit steeper. In the built-up area the road levels off until just before the end where it goes up again.
The descent (on the road) is nice again.
