Together with Hunselberg a Steenhoutberg one of my favourites this region: they all have in common that they get very steep (max 14％). First part is already solid, but then you're not there yet: the last part (after a short descent and flat piece) is the steepest (and most fun) part!

Very nice and beautiful climb which becomes steep towards the end. Unfortunately on the day I visited it had turned into one big mud mess and they were on top of the summit with trucks assembling a house. Once that is over it should be a more pleasant climb!

Don't get lost in the first part of this climb. Make sure you plan well because after the short descent there are the steeper parts to the desert chapel and the spur after it.
