Local climb to me. I use it to gauge fitness as its a real leg stinger to start with but then levels out after the car park. To be avoided at weekends or public holidays as car drivers take it over. Great views at the top.

The back way up to the Whitehorse, with less of the views or steep gradients. The road is a little wider and busier because it’s the main access for the car park. Best used as a descent, stick to climbing the main way up.
