Goed onderhouden fietspad door een betonwand gescheiden van een drukke tweevaksbaan waar gemotoriseerd verkeer aan 90 km per uur voorbijdenderd. Zo kan je deze strook valsplat het best beschrijven.

You never have to leave the big plateau but the last few hundred meters it rises a bit more.

Je hoeft hier nooit van de grote plateau maar de laatste honderden meters stijgt het wel iets meer.
Soms neem ik deze helling als ik tussen Betekom en Aarschot het jaagpad verlaat om richting Houwaart of Aarschot te fietsen.
Maar in de dichte omgeving zijn veel mooiere en uitdagender alternatieven zoals de Liedeberg en de Gelrodeweg vanuit Gelrode.
