My favourite variant of the Walim Pass ascent. On other variants there are cobblestones, provincial roads or strong climbs, while here it's peace and quiet from cars and a fairly gentle gradient, as we ride along a small river. We take off from Bystrzyckie Lake. Of these 10 kilometres of ascent, only one kilometre is quite steep, the rest of the kilometres are loose. In the middle of the ascent, there is the village of Glinno, where you can have a snack at the Bełty tavern.... read more

Mój ulubiony wariant wjazdu na Przełęcz Walimską. Na innych wariantach jest kostka brukowa, droga wojewódzka, albo mocne podjazdy, a tu cisza i spokój od samochodów i dość łagodne nachylenie, bo jedziemy wzdłuż niewielkiej rzeczki. Startujemy znad Jeziora Bystrzyckiego. Z tych 10 km podjazdu tylko jeden kilometr jest dość stromy, reszta kilometrów luźniutko. W połowie podjazdu jest wioska Glinno, gdzie można posilić się w karczmie Bełty

A drive from the reservoir in Zagórz Śląski to the iconic Walim Pass. Roads of good quality. On the descent from the pass there is a cobblestone
