Fine estate. But preferably not with thin racing tyres.

Fraai landgoed. Maar liever niet met dunne racebandjes.

Although I really wanted to give this one points - because Landgoed Molecaten is really beautiful - I am not going to. This is mainly because they have decided to pave a large part of the climb with coarse and sharp pebbles which makes cycling down it downright unpleasant (maybe that will improve in the future). In addition, it is incredibly crowded with hikers and in the right turn - just before the last part - you either have to pass a zigzag fence or a bit further on make a very sharp turn after which the last part also has cunningly hidden thresholds. A pity because the scenery is enjoyable.
NB: Just after the start do NOT follow the cycle path to the left but follow the dirt road straight ahead.
