Few climbs to it but a very nice route so therefore still recommended. After passing under the Waalbrug, you do have to turn left twice (entering a priority road the second time) but there is hardly any other traffic so it is doable. In the second part, nice views to the back of the Waal bridge.
Weinig klimmen aan maar wel een heel mooi traject dus daarom toch een aanrader. Na onder de Waalbrug door te zijn gegaan moet je wel twee keer linksaf slaan (waarbij je de tweede keer een voorrangsweg oprijdt) maar er is amper ander verkeer dus dat is goed te doen. In het tweede deel mooi uitzicht naar achteren op de Waalbrug.

Van alle beklimmingen om het centrum van Nijmegen weer in te komen is dit een van de mooiere, zeker in vergelijking tot de klim langs de N325 richting Trajanusplein. Als je onder de Waalbrug doorfietst, ruil je het asfalt in voor klinkers. Je kan kiezen tussen een fietsstrook met vrij gladde klinkers of stiekem op het weggedeelte fietsen met ruwere klinkers.
