As I said before, if you think that coming from Dinant, I want to go to Yvoir and have a nice climb, then do this one. The regular climb gives a nice view in its first part, then, going along the rocks, it makes you think of the hinterland of Nice, Cannes, the cornices... At the Viet farm, the ground surface does not look good. It is often very windy here. You have the impression that you are not moving forward. Unfortunately the road surface on the descent is in such a bad state that it becomes dangerous. Even when braking, the bike jumps from bump to bump, from hollow to hollow. It's just good for puncturing the tyre, or even taking a nasty blow to the rim. What a shame.

Quel dommage.

Pleasant steady climb on an excellent road surface. The views to the right in the first part are great. Once you enter the real Viet straight ahead at the crossroads to the farm on the top, the climb flattens out, but you also get worse tarmac under your wheels. Especially since the part that you do have to descend leaves much to be desired in terms of road surface quality, I would for this climb next time turn right at the intersection, hopefully that is better. In sum, it is fun if you are in the area, but because you have to be really careful and you constantly have to swerve in the descent, I would only do the second part if there is no other option.
