A nice climb from the bridge that connects Piedimulera with Pieve Vergonte up towards Fomarco and then Santa Maria, on a quiet tarmac road with little traffic. The views of the main valley are beautiful! Then you take the Via Crosa up from there. This road is in a slightly worse state, but still tarmac and fine to do on a road bike. The climb ends on a large carpark which offers lovely views of the Anzasca valley.
