Incredibly steep segment which starts with a 26 % cobbled section. Once you reach the top there are impressive views to Bormio, Valtellina, and the “Stelvio” ski slope. I walked, perhaps eMTB is the way to go!

incredibly steep road up towards Castello di San Pietro ruins- which you could continue on up by turning right at the end of this segment on a MTB, a gravel/rocky track. i had to walk up… amazing views back to Bormio old town.
