Perhaps the most enjoyable climb in the Luberon Mountains' southern spur. The climb starts on driving out of the beautiful Alleins a dorple in Provence. The road surface is in perfect condition with a new layer of asphalt. For the first km, the road winds through several hairpin bends towards Vernègues. Nowhere steep but pleasant climbing. After a km you have occasional flatter stretches and a little later you come to the wider road but then immediately to the left for the last 2 km to... read more

After a km you have occasional flatter stretches and a little later you come to the wider road but then immediately to the left for the last 2 km towards the centre of Vernègues. In short, a beautiful climb in beautiful surroundings. I've done it twice and enjoyed it twice. I have given it 4 stars, not because of the difficulty but because of the nice appearance of this climb.
