Zoals eerder beschreven makkelijk klimmetje aan de bovenkant van Valkenburg naast een oprit naar de snelweg. Halverwege ff een paar pedaalslagen extra om klein steiler stukkie te overwinnen, maar vooral naar rechts kijkend om het natuurschoon te aanschouwen.

Kom je vanaf de rotonde van Broekhem dan pak je eerst al een stukje van de klim Kleversberg mee. Als je dan onder de A-79 ben doorgereden ga je linksaf de Vauwerberg op. Voor het grootste is het stijgingspercentage redelijk strak. Allen net over de helft van de klim zit een steiler stukje.

Korte klim. Een redelijke loper over een uitgestorven weggetje met één steiler stukje. De eerste meters zijn klinkers, daarna een wildrooster en daarna eerst prima asfalt wat tegen het eind wat slechter wordt. Je rijdt langs de snelweg omhoog en krijgt naar links steeds beter uitzicht. Ook naar achteren mooi uitzicht richting het viaduct.

Leuke klim. Kort maar krachtig! Geen last van verkeer. Dat raast links van je over de oprit naar de autosnelweg. Aan het begin goed asfalt, maar dat gaat tegen de top over in een zeer matig wegdek. Daar liggen ook veel steentjes op de weg.

Tip: Drive after this climb to the Brakkeberg or the Geulhemmerberg or to Valkenburg for the Cauberg for a longer climb very close to this one.
Qua verkeer super rustig klimmetje. Asfalt is bovenop en in de afdaling van de westkant wel wat slechter.
LET OP: Als je van het noorden komt en in de afdaling zit vanuit Groot Haasdal moet je op tijd remmen en rechts afslaan. Anders mis je de klim en kom je op het fietspad onder de snelweg uit. Er staat namelijk een boom net voor de afslag voor deze klim. Knooppunt 61 en de Raarveldroute geven ook de goeie weg aan op bordjes op een lantaarnpaal net voor de afslag.
Tip: Rij na deze klim door naar de Brakkeberg of de Geulhemmerberg of naar Valkenburg voor de Cauberg voor een wat langer klimmetje erg dichtbij deze.
