Long and varied climb from the city centre towards the outskirts - and not a single traffic light on the whole stretch. The first part is a slightly winding cobbled street through a nice neighbourhood that gets a little steeper at the church.

As already written by someone else, the first few metres are past beautiful stately homes etc. It does take some caution because it is just a residential area so anything can happen.
After you leave the neighbourhood a bit then after the church it is a long boring road. This 'climb' does not get very difficult anywhere. To make it harder for yourself, you can take the many triangles that are there ( t junction with other streets ).

Especially the first kilometer to the church (or basilica?) is very beautiful. Through a residential area, but one you would really like to live in. Continuously uphill, big plate on your bike and power training. And hope that you are not overtaken by one of the many cheating cargo bikes with a barrel of external energy. After the church, you turn right and find yourself on the street that really features in every tour in this area. Not really special anymore. But together with a descent and two kilometers of climbing in between, not bad!
