A decidedly tough climb, on my Garmin after the first hairpin bend it rarely went below 16％ and already by 16 you felt you were resting. Also psychologically this climb doesn't hide much, it shows you its tears so head down and thoughts away.
Not very good asphalt but rideable with a racing bike. Stopping at the small chapel is obligatory with a view of Selvino from above. On the way down from the pass there is a restaurant but no drinking fountain. At the pass I turned right without reaching the village of Salmezza. It is interesting to descend and ascend towards Miragolo, where the Giro d'Italia occasionally passes through, and indeed the asphalt then becomes much better

Strappo decisamente duro, sul mio Garmin dopo il primo tornantino è sceso raramente sotto al 16％ e già al 16 ti sentivi che stavi riposando. Anche psicologicamente non si nasconde molto questa salita, ti mostra i suoi strappi quindi testa bassa e via i pensieri.
Asfalto non molto buono ma percorribile con bici da corsa. Sosta alla piccola cappelletta è obbligatorio con vista di Selvino dall'alto. Scendendo dal valico si trova un ristorante ma nessuna fontanella. Al valico ho svoltato a destra senza raggiungere l'abitato di Salmezza. Interessante scendere e risalire verso Miragolo dove transita occasionalmente il giro d'Italia e infatti l'asfalto poi diventa davvero molto migliore
