A very pleasant climb up the Val d'Enfer, with a more demanding finish at the foot of the pretty hilltop village of Les Baux de Provence.

Very nice climb with few vehicles. Crescendo climb with a few easy gradients at the end. Magnificent views of Baux de Provence. If you're in the area, I recommend this climb.

The climb starts straight up with a few bends at the end where the summit comes into view. The view is beautiful.

If you are in the Alpilles definitely take in this climb. One of the most beautiful climbs in the area and much quieter than the road via les Antiques to les Baux. The road gradually gets steeper. And especially from about the hairpin, it takes some time to get going. Possibly turn left on the col to a viewpoint (asphalted until there).
