Done this both as part of the Dragon Ride course and just exploring the area and it's a really good climb; generally great road surface, although you do find some loose rocks as you go further up into the wilds, plus loads of sheep droppings!
Starts steady as you pass small cottages and seems to stick to a 5-6% average most of the way - the smooth surface help.
Great views as you go higher and those final big, sweeping hairpins give it an almost Alpine feel. Finish at the radio masts with a big push, as the gradient eases off.
