If you are in the area and looking for a mega challenge this is your climb. It starts at the goldola station in Lungern and gets steep quickly so make sure you have warmed up elsewhere. The road is narrow and once past the first hairpin bend in trees so you get shade in the summer. The traffic is very light as there isnt much here except forestry workers. I think I walked as much as I cycled - its a cracker. Near the top it flattens off and you pass a small stream - I stood in the water to cool down before finishing the climb. At the top is the gondola station again and a restaurant so you can buy sugary refreshments. Views from the top are brilliant
