The profile is fairly easy to remember: almost flat, a steep section and then cycle out. So much for the theory. The first section is indeed light with a descent after that but then you see the steep section looming and now I had forgotten how steep this section was. Wonder if a bombshell logo shouldn't be added here because it goes up really hard right away - and after the bend certainly just as hard where it also goes on for a long time. The flatter part after that suddenly feels a lot heavier than planned as the legs really need to recuperate.
The road is hardly used but - apart from some pollution - is certainly reasonable. So it is perfectly passable and runs through a wooded and wonderfully quiet area with a steep slope below you. After the summit, a small descent to a pretty stream. Following the tarmac road brings you back to the main road so the climb can easily be included in a loop.
