Dans Randens, il faut prendre le long du Torrent au lieu dit « la Prévôté », puis continuer tout droit, montée très ombragée et il faudra attendre Montsapey pour bénéficier des paysages.
C'est une belle ascension avec des pentes et un dénivelé non négligeables.
