I did find this a fun one to do. The road surface does change so you sometimes lose your pace. The climb is also fairly uneven which can make it tricky. The attraction lies mainly in the surroundings, typical Ardennes agricultural area, with then in the middle of the climb a typical village with large farms. Once you get to the top you go through a forest before making a fantastic descent towards Durbuy. For me, this is the best side to ride towards Durbuy. When I rode I had 'a training par... read more

When I rode I had 'a training partner'on the steepest part'in the form of a dog running loose from a farm so some watching out anyway :-)
