A beautiful climb nestled in the Southern Uplands. The gradients, scenery and tranquility make this an incredible climb.
Really fun steep climb. 500m where you wonder if you can make it. The approach along the reservoir is stunning. Not many cars either which is ideal.
This climb certainly earns its name. The flat road along the reservoir, with the road cutting a diagonal up the hill slope at the end is a great approach for seeing what's in store.
I rented a road bike took a detour from Edinburgh just to make this climb. Very scenic climb!
