The Marine Drive is one-way and traffic goes anticlockwise around the Great Orme headland. It's a toll raod but cyclists go free. The road clings to the edge between sea and limestone cliffs. The climb undulates but is never difficult only reaching double digits on the final short climb to a small summit car park. To reach this turn left off the Marine Drive up a concrete track 300m past the Rest and Be Thankful cafe - worth backtracking to after the climb as the cake portions are huge.
