Climb located in a nice idyllic rural setting, although the noise from the adjacent motorway is a bit of a dissonant.

Not too difficult climb from the nature reserve between A-76 and the western Parkstadring to the hamlet of Ten Esschen. If you come via the nature reserve from the direction of the Heerlen district of Welten, you can use this as a nice finish.

Nice to add this to your route because of the scenery. Just a quiet paddle through the greenery. In terms of climbing, it is not much.

This climb offers very few points so cannot give it 4 stars but it is actually a very nice climb, however short it is. From the beautiful Geleenbeek valley, you start on the cycle path with a real hairpin bend after which you climb out of the valley through the greenery. Near the houses, it then continues to rise for a while. At the end of the cycle path, there are posts (Streetview shows fences) that you can easily pass through.)
