Once nice not to come out of breath at the top of the Paterberg. A fun climb in itself - although it's watchful of oncoming cyclists who have climbed the Paterberg. You have no visibility in the blind turns, and if some Pogacar or MVDP venture in and the turns are cut off along the inside. The road surface is bad in places, worse than what you would expect from a road surface in the Tour of Flanders.

More commonly known as the descent of the Paterberg. A shame in itself because the climb has plenty of existence on its own. Not very tough over concrete you go through meadows and a group of trees to the top of the Paterberg. There you have a great view.

During the Tour of Flanders, the riders descend via the Stooktestraat after the Paterberg. Hence I recognised the climb. The road surface is concrete but bulges well! Once at the top, don't forget to look to the right, then you'll see the Paterberg and be glad you rode up via the Stooktestraat :p
