Off in the early morning from Kaltenbach. On to the unknown Stilluptal valley. Like any ride from Kaltenbach, the first 20 kilometres are almost flat. Of this holiday it is the first ride so the little legs still have to get used to the changing gradients. But it goes well for me. We ride out of the hustle and bustle of Mayrhofen to end up directly in the silence of the forest. The relatively narrow road here rises steeply right away with percentages above 10％. Nice climb, a relief with all those steep mountains in Austria, this one is easy to do. You stumble over the e-bikers, so make sure you have a bell on your bike. Occasionally a challenging part, but that makes it really fun.
