Beautiful but tough climb. Ridden as part of a tour of Schliersee, Spitzingsee, Tegernsee. Highly recommended. The climb to Spitzingssee (Spitzingsattel) is on a wide and good road. Fair amount of traffic today, but it's bright weather and a Bavarian holiday, so all of Müchen headed into the mountains. Very nice scenery with waterfalls, streams and mountains. During the climb to the Spitzingsee you won't take much notice of it, as it's in the double digits in terms of gradients for almost 2.5 km. And with no hairpin turns, you'll never get a chance to take the pressure off your legs for a while. It's not long, but still your muscles will fill up.
