A good climb that starts of steeper and then settles into a good rhythm. A very busy road on the whole I’ve found but the condition of the road itself is a good one. Nice views along the route and the surrounding area ... read more

There are much easier ways to reach Eyam if you're coming from the east but this is a great climb and well worth the effort. It tops out nicely on the southern edge of Eyam Moor. The road carries a bit of traffic but is wide enough for cars to pass relatively easily and the tarmac surface is good. Lovely descent down into Eyam although the tarmac isn't good in places and needs some caution.
