There are much easier ways to reach Eyam if you're coming from the east but this is a great climb and well worth the effort. It tops out nicely on the southern edge of Eyam Moor. The road carries a bit of traffic but is wide enough for cars to pass relatively easily and the tarmac surface is good. Lovely descent down into Eyam although the tarmac isn't good in places and needs some caution.
A steep start can catch you out but settles soon after find a good rythm and you can smash it
