Subida dura pero muy bonita. Tiene un tramo con mal asfalto más o menos a mitad de subida. Con escaso tráfico. Buenas vistas.

This is the nicest way up Serra d’Arga (and also maybe the best way down). There is a nice series of hairpins and the gradients are challenging but not crazy. The road surface gets a bit heavy after the “Serra d’Arga” sign. The last couple of times I’ve been up there has been a herd of goats with their guardians (Portuguese mountain dogs) - which can get a bit intimidating. Don’t freak out and remove sunglasses if possible, the dogs will bark but won’t attack unless you provoke them.
