The section that continues to the left of the Boden Sanctuary to the Steit Alp is divided into two sections: the one up to the bar (the subject of this review) and the one after that. In the final stretch of the ascent, two quarry explosive depots brush by and on the very day I tackled the climb there was also an army armored car. A treat that I had never come across on other bike rides. The first section, on the other hand, is quite approachable with slopes that are never challenging. As you climb, you enter the woods and enter a dimension of silence and "out of time" a time when you hear only the water of the stream and the noises of the bike and your body in the effort of the climb. I would like to point out that after the bar and especially after the bridge over the stream, the music changes completely because the'climb becomes super tough with 1.5 km at an average 14％ to the Steit Alp where the asphalt ends at a small widening. Il tratto che prosegue a sinistra del santuario del Boden per l'alpe Steit si divide in due tratti: quello fino alla sbarra (oggetto della recensione) e quello successivo. Le difficoltà di questo tratto sono ascrivibili a due circostanze: quanto si è andati forte nel tratto da Ornavasso al Santuario e l'ultimo tratto di questo segmento che presenta in prossimità del doppio tornante prima della sbarra pendenze che oscillano tra il 12 e il 14％ con qualche piccolo tratto per rifiatare ove la pendenza scende per un breve tratto sotto il 10％. Nel tratto terminale dell'ascesa si sfiorano due depositi di esplosivo per le cave e proprio nel giorno in cui ho affrontato la salita c'era anche un blindato dell'esercito. Una chicca che non mi era mai capitato di vedere in altre gite ciclistiche. Il primo tratto è invece abbastanza abbordabile con pendenze mai impegnative. Man mano che si sale, ci si inoltra nel bosco e si entra in una dimensione di silenzio e di "fuori dal tempo", un momento in cui si sente solo l'acqua del torrentello e i rumori della bici e del proprio corpo nello sforzo della salita. Mi preme precisare che dopo la sbarra ed in particolare dopo il ponte sul torrente, la musica cambia completamente perché l'ascesa diventa super tosta con 1,5 km al 14％ medio fino all'alpe Steit dove l'asfalto termina in corrispondenza di un piccolo slargo. La strada da quel punto diventa sterrata ma non percorribile con una bdc. In certi frangenti la pendenza è ampiamente superiore al 20％...
