Gevarieerde en langere klim die zowel het centrum van Langerwehe doorkruist als een mooie groene omgeving met fraai uitzicht. De klim begint rustig maar na de rotonde loopt het een stuk steviger op en dat blijft langs zo doorlopen. Uiteindelijk vlakt het af. In het tweede deel veel groen langs de route en waar links het bos verdwijnt heb je werkelijk prachtig uitzicht (al moet je je wel even half omdraaien).
