Short but vicious wall that immediately hits you full in the legs as soon as you turn onto the street. The steepness is impressive for such a short climb and makes it ideal for giving everything for a moment. Thanks to its dead-end nature, it's also surprisingly quiet, making it a fun and intense little climb in the middle of Brussels.
Nice steep climb that does go on longer than you'd like. Fortunately dead end for car traffic so traffic is low. A hidden gem in a beautiful wooded area!
It's a real wall, but it's very short, in the very steep part, the street is closed to cars.
One of the three Brussels Cotacols and this one deserves to be on this list.
Although the street has not been paved for many years, it is still quite steep.
Fortunately, there is little car traffic (it is a dead end), so you can walk up it... quietly!

I have just done this little "mythical" coast of the Brussels world. I had a great time! The dead-end street and the fact that it was outside of school hours made the experience very serene and allowed me to concentrate fully on the effort.
To be repeated with friends!
Je me suis bien amusé !
Nice climb along the Dudenpark. On the way, you will probably pass the beautiful stadium of Union Saint-Gilloise. Profile seems incorrect, the second part is really much steeper than the first, my gps even indicated 17%. In terms of percentages, it reminded me of the Dutch Eyserbosweg
Steep short pimple, because it is closed at the top for cars also nice and quiet. However, to get there quite busy
A small wall that runs alongside the Parc Duden and offsets the 30m difference in height in a straight line of less than 400m. The Tour de France passed through here and there in the 60s and 70s, and the top is blocked off to cars. The climb is divided into two parts with a flat area in between. The second part is by far the most demanding. It is possible to extend the pleasure via the false flat offered by Avenue Victor Rousseau up to Altitude Cent (by turning left at the top).
A short solid wall in Brussels. I passed here when there was just a school out. So it was very busy at the foot and thus difficult to start. It is steep here, but because of the short length it is doable. If you then turn left at the top (watch out, there is no real intersection!) the road goes up for a long time and you can't recover very well if you have gone all out.
In fact, I can't think of a more difficult climb in the Brussels area than this one. Only the rue Dupont in Schaerbeek, near the North Station, can compete with it, and even then.
Bollards at the top prevent all four-wheeled vehicles from passing but do not hinder cyclists. However, you have to be careful when you get there, as the traffic on the Avenue Victor Rousseau can be heavy and there are often cars parked just behind the bollards that impede visibility. If you turn left at the top (again, be careful!) via this avenue Rousseau, you can extend the ascent to the place de l'Altitude 100, one of the highest points in the region, but the slope becomes insignificant and you have to deal with the traffic.
