Fun and tough climb in the area between Haccourt and Hautain-Saint-Siméon. You start the climb from Rue de Tongres. The first few hundred metres are then straight up in double digits. After this, you get a descending section before starting the second part of the climb, which again starts out steep but soon flattens out to false flat towards the top. If you want to avoid the busy and boring Rue de Tongres, you can start with the climb of Thier des Bruyères. After a short descent after this climb then take the first road on the right Rue de Trez for the rest of the climb.

A versatile climb. At the beginning you see the slope you have to climb and where you see the road winding upwards. Pretty impressive and not undeservedly so because it is a lot of work in this part. Here you also have beautiful views to the right. At the grove you turn left into an undulating concrete road (more like a bike path) which runs through the forest and later through several windings through agricultural area further upwards. At the top (at a right angle to the left) you have a nice view on the road that leads to Houtain-Saint-Siméon. The upper part of this climb is also good to combine with the Thier des Bruyères from Hallembaye so you can avoid the through road.
