I came out here to validate the 3 4th category climbs in the region. This was one of them. This climb is exceptional. It's extremely difficult, the gradient never goes below 10% except at the end and that's for 1km. After the first hairpin, you've already climbed enough to get a view of the valley from above, that's for sure. Incidentally, after this hairpin, it's clearly the hardest part of the climb, with percentages at 14% and 15 on the next bend. After this one it climbs a little more before the slope softens for good.
