The first part does feel like climbing, but in my memory the 2 'steps' of this climb were not as steep and tough as the profile suggests. Otherwise, a fine climb with good road surface and through a beautiful Ardennes forest. Finally, you do ride on a main road but personally I had little trouble with traffic.
