Very nice climb between Visé and Bombaye. From the east side of Visé, you descend into the Berwinne valley before starting the climb. Right at the start you get a nice hairpin bend. Steepest part of the climb is just before and after this bend. Otherwise a nice runner.

In May 2024, the bridge over the Berwinne was badly damaged by a heavy flood and you couldn't use it for a long time. As Fedor points out, you can now cross it on foot. The preliminary forecast is that repairs will be completed by mid-May 2025.

Enjoy this climb. Runs on perfect tarmac, has a nice hairpin turn and follows an attractive route from a pretty valley. Getting to the start is a challenge now though as the bridge over the Berwinne is closed to traffic - but pedestrians (with or without bikes) can get past the gates.

As it is often the case with asphalt in this region: a bit of asphalt here and there. A beautiful climb with its pin bend where you can enjoy "kapot". Enjoy the view in the hairpin bend. Well worth the effort.
