A pleasant ascent from the Meuse. The route starts in a built-up area of houses, then once you reach the top, the route leads you through fields. It's also a Cotacol, no. 369

Had a holiday home on this slope. Can't estimate how it is with the racing bike, because it wasn't with us, but with the folding bike it was quite tough. The first kilometre is doable (although it starts steeply in the village centre, and you cannot see what is coming after that bend, but fortunately those are very merciful hectometres). The second kilometre is a lot harder, but also more beautiful, because you leave the houses behind you. The last kilometre is spent enjoying beautiful views at moderate percentages. Apart from a stately farmhouse at some distance from the summit, you do this in all desolation.

(waarneming april 2021)
