Fun and not too difficult climb through Aubel's northern suburb. The first 800 metres is actually false flat. The last kilometre goes up nicely in a tight gradient. The summit is at the junction of the busy road between Hagelstein and Warsage.
Leuke en niet te moeilijke klim door de noordelijke buitenwijk van Aubel. De eerste 800 meter is eigenlijk vals plat. De laatste kilometer loopt in een strak stijgingspercentage lekker omhoog. De top ligt op de splitsing van de drukke weg tussen Hagelstein en Warsage.
Nice climb that goes partly through a green residential area and partly through the countryside, with in the last part sometimes beautiful views. From the creek it goes up for a while and you can see the ridge towering in front of you. After turning right there is a flatter part between detached houses, which at the end rises again. Then turn left on a kind of main road which is a reasonable runner beautifully winds up along the slope. No steep percentages but the length makes itself felt. Excellent asphalt.
Aardige klim die deels door een groene woonwijk en deels door het buitengebied loopt, met in het laatste deel soms fraaie uitzichten. Vanaf de beek gaat het even leuk omhoog en zie je de heuvelrug mooi voor je uit torenen. Na rechtsaf te zijn geslagen volgt een vlakker deel tussen vrijstaande huizen door wat op het eind weer oploopt. Daarna linksaf op een soort hoofdweg wat als een redelijke loper fraai langs de helling omhoog slingert. Geen heftige percentages maar de lengte laat zich wel voelen. Uitstekend asfalt en rustige wegen.
