If you think away the traffic, this is a top climb. The road surface is perfect, the gradient nice and constant and nowhere difficult and a varied setting. The first 2.5 kilometres are negligible. But yes, unfortunately there is quite a bit of traffic driving. I often use this road as a descent to the Foret. As a descent it is also definitely recommended and in terms of climbing the Foret is 5/5!... read more

I often use this road as a descent to the Foret. As a descent it is also definitely recommended and in terms of climbing the Foret is 5/5!

Not a really nice climb, but new road surface like a billiard sheet. Not difficult, nice runner although you do start to feel the legs at the top in Soumagne.

One of the least attractive (and therefore one of the easiest) climbs in the area and from the valley up to the north. Almost all climbs are more scenically interesting, tougher or steeper. Oh well, there must be one climb at the bottom. Quiet on Sundays, on weekdays a busy through road in Wallonia. A good road though, and nice and long.

The start of this climb is actually quite nice in the woods. The percentage is also very sweet there. Gradually it increases a little, but it never gets really hard. Unfortunately, there is still a lot of traffic on the road. For the longer climbs I would rather go in the direction of Rosier or Trasenster.

Quite a big road, although the traffic isn't too bad. I don't really like driving it. I usually do it downhill. There are much nicer climbs nearby, although they are shorter. Although the first 2.5 km of this one are hardly uphill.

Slightly longer climb at a not too high percentage. Ideal for a first experience with the mountains.
